How to: save music from Imeem

EDIT:

There is now an easier method to
download music from imeem:

http://radioblogdownloader.com/imeem/

Imeem is a social media site with thousands upon thousands of songs. After about 30 minutes I finally figured out how to download songs from Imeem.

Find a song or playlist that you want to download and copy the URL.

Playlist URL's

Paste the URL in notepad or a text editing program.

Ex URL:
Copy what is in the red (in your URL) and paste it on a new line.
Paste what you copied at the end of this URL:
So you would have:
Now visit the URL, you should see the contents of the playlist as an xml file.

Between the are the titles of the songs and underneath between the tags, you should see a link to the song in a .flv file. Copy the URL to the file.

We now need to convert the .flv file into an .mp3 file.
Go to: http://vixy.net/
Paste the url to the flv file in the space, and select "Converts to:" MP3 (audio only).

You now have yourself the mp3.

Single URL's:

Go to the URL for a song you want.
Ex: http://lizow.imeem.com/music/OT7Udtzf/funk_soul_brother/

View the page source and search for .flv

It should take you to something that looks like:
http%3a%2f%2fcache04.sfo1.imeem.com%2fg%2fm%2fa1c08138b517d5ef5251d5464f7774a8.flv

Right away you can get rid of what you see in the red.
Then where you see a %2f replace that with /
You should have something like this:

cache04.sfo1.imeem.com/g/m/a1c08138b517d5ef5251d5464f7774a8.flv

add http://

http://cache04.sfo1.imeem.com/g/m/a1c08138b517d5ef5251d5464f7774a8.flv

We now need to convert the .flv file into an .mp3 file.
Go to: http://www.media-convert.com

Choose URL and paste the URL there
For input format choose Flash Video (.Flv)
For output format choose "no video preset" and .mp3 for the second one

You now have yourself the mp3.
